Successo a sorpresa di Brodie Chapman nella prima frazione del “Women’s Herald Sun Tour”, breve corsa a tappe nazionale corsa sulle strade d’Australia. L’atleta vestita con la casacca della formazione KordaMentha Real Estate – Australia si è presentata al traguardo di Healesville in perfetta solitudine, relegando ad 8 secondi di ritardo l’iridata in carica contro il tempo Annemiek Van Vleuten (Mitchelton – Scott) e ad oltre un minuto un drappello di una trentina di atlete regolato allo sprint dalla portacolori del team Alè – Cipollini Chloe Hosking. Buon quinto posto per la due volte campionessa del mondo su strada Giorgia Bronzini (Cylance Pro Cycling).
