“Santos Women’s Tour”: alla Wild lo sprint di Adelaide. Rachele Barbieri ottima seconda

Nella seconda frazione del “Santos Women’s Tour”, disputata sotto forma di criterium corso ad Adelaide, trionfo del Cylance Pro Cycling del team manager Manel Lacambra. La formazione con passaporto statunitense, al termine di un ottimo lavoro di squadra, ha piazzato la possente sprinter olandese Kirsten Wild al primo posto e la giovane azzurra Rachele Barbieri al secondo. Il podio è stato completato dalla padrona di casa Chloe Hosking, vestita con la nuova divisa della formazione veronese Alè – Cipollini – Galassia. Buone prove anche delle azzurre Barbara Guarischi (Canyon – SRAM Racing) ed Anna Trevisi (Alè – Cipollini – Galassia), che hanno occupato rispettivamente la sesta e la settima posizione. In classifica generale rimane saldamente al comando Amanda Spratt (Orica – Scott), dominatrice della frazione inaugurale.
