“Ladies Tour of Norway”: trionfo del Team Rabo – Liv. Bene Maria Giulia Confalonieri

E’ Lucinda Brand la vincitrice dell’edizione 2016 del “Ladies Tour of Norway”, breve gara a tappe internazionale U.C.I. 2.1. La portacolori del Rabo – Liv Women Cycling Team, fresca vincitrice dell’internazionale “Erondegemse Pijl” (Erpe-Mere), ha dominato la seconda frazione della corsa e nella classifica generale finale si è lasciata alle spalle le compagne di squadra Thalita De Jong, risultata la miglior giovane, ed Helena Anouska Koster, prima nella tappa conclusiva e vincitrice della classifica a punti. Festa anche per l’elvetica Nicole Hanselmann (Cervélo – Bigla Pro Cycling Team), che ha alzato le braccia al cielo nella frazione inaugurale. Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig (Team BMS – Birn), invece, si è dimostrata la miglior scalatrice. Per i colori azzurri da sottolineare le ottime prestazioni della brianzola Maria Giulia Confalonieri, che ha colto un quinto posto e due ottave piazze. La ventitreenne rappresentante del Team Lensworld – Zannata, tre volte a podio al “Giro Rosa U.C.I. WWT”, è anche giunta decima in classifica generale. (Foto di Flaviano Ossola)
