Ale’ – Cipollini – Galassia: Marta Tagliaferro vince l’ultima tappa della “Gracia-Orlova”

Marta Tagliaferro ha vinto la quinta ed ultima tappa della breve corsa a tappe Gracia Orlova. Fuga e successo netto per l’atleta della Alé Cipollini Galassia. Il numero delle vittorie diventa a doppia cifra, sono già 10 e siamo solo ad inizio Maggio. Ieri Marta Bastianelli, invece, ha chiuso 5a al “The Women’s Tour de Yorkshire Race”, 6a Anna Trevisi. “Una vittoria, un doppio podio con un secondo e un terzo posto ed un quarto, quattro ottimi risultati ottenuti in altrettanti giorni di corsa, con una formazione di sole 4 atlete, che dire, fare di meglio era impossibile”. Questo il commento di una soddisfatta Fabiana Luperini al termine della corsa a tappe, che poi aggiunge: “La squadra si è mossa sempre molto bene, non ha mai sbagliato una mossa in nessuna tappa. Le ragazze sono state sempre pronte ad inserirsi nelle fughe giuste o ad affondare il colpo al momento giusto. Oltre alla testa Ane e Marta hanno mostrato di avere un bel colpo di pedale che ci ha permesso di vincere o comunque essere tra le prime, questi risultati ci danno morale per i prossimi impegni. Oggi non possiamo che essere felici”.

La Gracia Orlova 2016 si chiude con un’ottima vittoria firmata Marta Tagliaferro, la sua seconda personale (sua anche la 2a tappa al Tour Femenino de San Luis, ndr). L’atleta della Alé Cipollini Galassia, dopo aver sfiorato il podio ieri, quarta, oggi ha letteralmente dominato la frazione conclusiva, è stata la prima a cercare la fuga che è andata in porto e poi, ha provato ad anticipare le compagne di avventura e grazie ad una “fucilata” ha vinto nettamente ed alzato le braccia al cielo. Protagoniste fino alle fine le atlete di Alessia Piccolo, dopo il doppio podio di Ane Santesteban, 3a nella tappa d’apertura e 2a in quella successiva e il nono posto nella classifica finale, oggi sul gradino più alto è salita Marta Tagliaferro. Sale così a quota dieci il numero dei successi #yellowfluorange in questa stagione.

Marta Tagliaferro: “Ho cercato la fuga giusta in tutti i modi perché sapevo che era l’unica carta vincente. Dopo diversi tentativi sono entrata nella fuga perfetta e poi, sono scattata a 100mt dall’arrivo che era posto in cima ad uno strappo. Ho guadagnato subito terreno sulla seconda e ho gestito il vantaggio fino alla fine. È stato davvero bello. Ringrazio tanto le mie compagne che hanno creduto in me. Eravamo poche, solo in 4, ma unite e forti di testa come un team al completo”. Ottimi risultati anche in Regno Unito per la formazione #yellowfluorange. Marta Bastianelli, infatti, conquista in volata un bel quinto posto al “The Women’s Tour de Yorkshire Race”, alle sue spalle si piazza la compagna di squadra Anna Trevisi, sesta.
