Ale’ – Cipollini – Galassia: l’iberica Ane Santesteban ancora a podio in Repubblica Ceca

Nella seconda tappa della Gracia Orlova la #yellowfluorange Ane Santesteban accelera in salita e si lascia alle spalle le avversarie. Resiste davanti solo Olena Pavlukhina, che conquista il successo. Ane veste anche la maglia bianca della classifica a punti, al termine della frazione odierna. Anche il podio della seconda tappa si colora di #yellowfluorange grazie all’ottima prestazione di Ane Santestan, che nella tappa più difficile della Gracia Orlova sfiora il successo e si piazza in seconda posizione.
Al termine dell’impegnativa tappa veste anche la maglia bianca, dedicata alla speciale classifica a punti.

“Peccato” – commenta il Direttore Sportivo Fabiana Luperini – “Ane più di tutti meriterebbe una vittoria. Anche stavolta ha dimostrato di essere un’ottima atleta: è in condizione, mi ha ascoltato e ha condotto una gara perfetta; siamo molto contenti per questo eccellente risultato. Se pensiamo che siamo solo in 4 atlete in corsa, questo secondo posto vale quanto una vittoria; ma noi ci riproveremo, già domani”.

Ane Santesteban: “Sono soddisfatta anche se rammaricata per la vittoria sfiorata. Sin da questa mattina mi sentivo bene e con Fabiana avevamo deciso di aspettare lo strappo finale. La squadra ha lavorato molto per me, per portarmi il più avanti possibile, Dalia Muccioli ha fatto un gran lavoro. Ora guardo avanti, penso che ci siano altre occasioni adatte a noi, non sarà facile vincere, ma ci proveremo, come sempre”. Domani doppio impegno per le atlete di Alessia Piccolo, che saranno impegnate inizialmente in una cronometro individuale di 13,5 km con partenza ed arrivo a Havírov. ENGLISH VERSION – GRACIA ORLOVA: ANE SANTESTEBAN CLOSED TO THE SUCCESS. SHE IS 2ND IN THE 2ND STAGE

In the second stage of the Gracia Orlova, the #yellowfluorange Ane Santesteban accelerates uphill and she leaves behind the rivals. Only Olena Pavlukhina keeps on the front, who gains the stage. Ane as also wears the white t-shirt of the points classification at the end of today’s portion. Also the podium of the second stage has #yellowfluorange colours, thanks to the excellent performance of Ane Santestan, that in the most difficult stage of the Gracia Orlova brushes against the success and she gets the second position.
At the end of the demanding stage, she also wear the white t-shirt, dedicated to the special points classification.

“What a shame!” – says the Sports Director Fabiana Luperini – “Ane deserves a victory, more than all the others. Once again, she proved to be a great athlete: she listened to me and led a perfect race; we are very happy for this excellent result. If we think that we are only four athletes in the running, this second place is as good as a victory; but we will try again there, tomorrow.”

Ane Santesteban: “I’m satisfied, but also regretted for the victory touched. Since this morning, I felt good, and with Fabiana we decided to wait for the final climb.
