Ale’ – Cipollini – Galassia: Santesteban e Muccioli punte per il “Trofeo Binda WWT”

Per il Trofeo Alfredo Binda, terza prova del World Tour in Italia, il team Alé Cipollini Galassia-Parmigiano Reggiano si affida alla linea verde. Sulle strade di Cittiglio, nel Varesotto, corsa in linea di 123 chilometri (partenza 13.30) in programma domenica, 20 marzo, la formazione #yellowfluorange darà spazio alla sue ragazze di talento. Agli ordini dei direttori sportivi Fortunato Lacquaniti e Fabiana Luperini saranno presenti sei atlete. Marta Bastianelli, Ellen Skerritt, Emilia Fahlin, Malgorzata Jasinska, Ane Santesteban e Dalia Muccioli. Quasi tutte reduci e ben rodate dall’ultimo weekend in Olanda nella classiche del Drenthe, dove Bastianelli ha conquistato il quinto posto nella seconda manche del World Tour, e la svedese Fahlin il medesimo piazzamento nella Acht van Westerveld.

“Cittiglio è una gara importante dalla quale ci aspettiamo segnali incoraggianti. Innanzitutto vogliamo collezionare punti utili a consolidare la nostra posizione nel ranking World Tour (9^) – spiega il direttore sportivo Lacquaniti -. Imposteremo la corsa su Muccioli e Santesteban, che possiedono le giuste caratteristiche per un percorso nervoso come quello del Trofeo Binda, oltre a una condizione atletica buona. Poi sarà lo sviluppo della corsa a dirci chi avrà più chance. Quanto alla Bastianelli se dovesse arrivare davanti potrà sfruttare il suo spunto veloce, Jasinska la sua forza negli attacchi”.
