Ale’ – Cipollini – Galassia: Marta Bastianelli “padrona” sulle strade del Belgio

Marta Bastianelli, romana di Velletri trapiantata in Abruzzo e Veneta di adozione, ha vinto l’edizione 2016 della Omloop van het Hageland – Tielt-Wienge con una volata regale in cui ha relegato ai gradini più bassi del podio Leah Kirchmann (Team Liv-Plantur) e Lotta Leopisto (Cervélo-Bigla Pro Cycling). Innegabile l’entusiasmo di casa Alé Cipollini Galassia, nell’anno della piena maturità del progetto, partito con risultati incredibili: “Siamo felici di questa vittoria che segue le altre due di Malgorzata Jasinska e Marta Tagliaferro, perché si completa già il nostro quadro di atlete faro del team per questo inizio di stagione” – spiega Fortunato Lacquaniti, primo direttore sportivo del team affiancato da Fabiana Luperini in ammiraglia – “Marta é una nuova atleta rispetto al passato, si è evoluta in velocità e scaltrezza ed oggi ha dimostrato di poter insidiare le migliori velociste al mondo. Sono sicuro che non sia solo diventata veloce, ma piuttosto che sia diventata atleta completa che ora guarda a sabato prossimo per graffiare in una corsa Italiana unica nel suo genere ed adatta alle sue caratteristiche, la S trade Bianche”.

Lacquaniti, in Belgio con la squadra, ha chiaro in testa il futuro del team, così come la Presidentessa Alessia Piccolo, raggiante per il successo: “Tre vittorie, tutte per ora all’estero, in un inizio di stagione che ci vede protagoniste. Sono soddisfatta del risultato che rispecchia i valori delle aziende che rappresentiamo con il team: professionalità, internazionalita e capacità di distinguersi anche con il meglio del ciclismo mondiale”. Il successo di Marta é il risultato di un lavoro profondo di squadra: “Devo dire grazie a tutte le mie compagne per il supporto” – specifica la vincitrice, iridata 2007 – “mi hanno tenuta coperta per tutta la corsa e pilotata al meglio allo sprint, uscendo negli ultimi 150 metri, dove ho dato tutta me stessa”. Emozionata e felice, Marta Bastianelli non può che chiudere con una dedica speciale: “A mio marito Roberto e sopratutto alla mia splendida figlia Clarissa Victoria, sono loro che mi danno l’energia e la grinta per dare il massimo in bicicletta”.
