Ale’ – Cipollini – Galassia: Annalisa Cucinotta sfiora il successo al “Tour of Qatar”

Ladies Tour of Qatar. 1a Tappa: Doha – Doha. La breve corsa a tappa negli Emirati Arabi si apre con una grande prestazione di tutta la squadra #yellowfluorange. Annalisa Cucinotta, infatti, ha sfiorato il bis (nel 2015 ha vinto la 1a tappa, ndr) piazzandosi in seconda posizione, alle spalle della possente olandese Kirsten Wild, nella frazione d’apertura. L’alteta della Alé Cipollini Galassia nello sprint finale, dopo 97 km, conquista il suo primo podio stagionale su strada. Dopo la prima tappa Annalisa Cucinotta è 2a nella classifica generale, a soli 7” dalla Wild. Protagonista in corsa anche Marta Tagliaferro, due volte terza negli sprint intermedi, piazzamenti che le hanno permessso di conquistare secondi preziosi per la classifica generale. Ora è 6a a 11” dalla leader.

Fortunato Lacquaniti commenta così la prestazione di tutto il team: “Anche oggi le ragazze hanno dato un segnale forte e si sono messe in luce, sempre presenti in corsa. Tutta la squadra è stata brava a restare concentrata portando Annalisa sulle ruote delle migliori velociste. Ci è mancato davvero poco, ma siamo soddisfatti per come sia inziata la corsa. Questo secondo posto ci da ancor più morale; siamo fiduciosi e sicuri di poter far molto bene anche nelle prossime tappe”. Domani la seconda frazione: Schleiz – Schleiz 103,7km. ENGLISH VERSION – LADIES TOUR OF QATAR: ANNALISA CUCINOTTA CLOSED 2TH IN THE FIRST STAGE

Annalisa Cucinotta closed to the success in the first stage of the Ladies Tour of Qatar. Alé Cipollini Galassia Lady finished 2nd behind the Dutch sprinter Kirsten Wild. In the top 10 overall standings there are 2 #yellowfluorange ladies: Cucinotta 2nd & Tagliaferro 6th. Ladies Tour of Qatar. Stage 1: Doha – Doha. The short stage race in the Emirates opens with a great performance from the whole #yellowfluorange team. Annalisa Cucinotta, in fact, finished 2nd (in 2015 she won the first stage) and she conquered the second place, behind the Dutch Kirsten Wild. The Alé Cipollini Galassia rider conquered her first seasonal podium after 97 km. After the first stage Annalisa Cucinotta is second in the overall standings, just 7” from Wild.

Protagonist in the race even Marta Tagliaferro, twice third in the intermediate sprints, places that give her the conquer of precious seconds for the general classification. Now she is sixth in 11” from leader. Fortunato Lacquaniti comments the performance of the whole team: “Even now the girls have given a strong signal, they have always present in the race. The whole team was good to help Annalisa remain focused on the wheels of the best sprinters. We are satisfied with how has started the race.
