L’edizione 2014 del “Premio Sicurezza” assegnata al patron del Giro Giuseppe Rivolta

Riconoscimento importantissimo per il Patron del Giro Rosa, che questa mattina a Faenza ha ricevuto il Premio Sicurezza 2014, consegnato in occasione del 23° Giorno della Scorta. Un risultato che inorgoglisce e da maggiore prestigio a una manifestazione importante e rinomata nel mondo quale è il Giro d’Italia Internazionale Femminile (denominato ufficialmente GIRO ROSA), che quest’anno ha compiuto i 25 anni festeggiandoli con il trionfo della campionessa assoluta Marianne Vos in cima alla mitica salita della Madonna del Ghisallo. Il premio si aggiunge ai già notevoli risultati di seguito televisivo e interattivo che il Giro Rosa diretto da Giuseppe Rivolta ha ottenuto nella passata edizione, con un picco di 500 mila contatti e telespettatori nella tappa finale, sommati alle migliaia di appassionati che hanno salutato la carovana sulle strade italiane, da Caserta fino al Ghisallo. “Sono molto soddisfatto di questo riconoscimento – dichiara Giuseppe Rivolta al momento della premiazione – Ciò significa che il lavoro che abbiamo fatto per il 25° Giro Rosa è stato ottimo e siamo pronti a fare ancora meglio in occasione della prossima edizione, che partirà dalla Capitale slovena Lubiana il 3 luglio per concludersi dopo dieci tappe a San Domenico di Varzo, in Piemonte. Important day for our race director, who got this morning in Faenza (Ravenna) the Safety Award of the year 2014. Giuseppe Rivolta has been awarded during the 23rd Edition of the “Giorno della Scorta” and gives another prestigious result to the Giro d’Italia Internazionale Femminile (officially named GIRO ROSA), a worldwide known sport event won in the last edition by the absolute Dutch champion Marianne Vos on the historical uphill finish of Madonna del Ghisallo. This Award adds itself to the best results that the Giro Rosa has obtained in the 2014 edition on television and on the web: the last stage has been watched by almost 500,000 people and had the same number of contacts from every part of the world on the Social Networks, plus the fans and supporters who came to see the big troop passing through the Italian roads, from Caserta to the Ghisallo. “I am very satisfied and proud for this award – admits the Giro Rosa Race Director Giuseppe Rivolta after the ceremony – it means that we have made a great work for the 25th edition, and we are all improving our forces for a better 26th Giro Rosa, which will begin in the Slovenian Capital City Ljubljana on the 3rd July and will end after 10 stages in San Domenico di Varzo.
