Al “Giro Rosa” la sprinter della Ale’ – Cipollini – Galassia Shelley Olds sale ancora sul podio

Ancora uno sprint ed ancora un podio per Shelley Olds: l’atleta americana incrementa il proprio bottino personale e quello della Alé – Cipollini – Galassia centrando il terzo posto nella 5° frazione del Giro Rosa. Un bronzo che per qualche minuto è sembrato tingersi d’argento, visto che oggi per stendere l’ordine d’arrivo è servito il fotofinish. Per la vittoria nessun dubbio, è ancora una volta di Marianne Vos, ma per il 2° ed il 3° posto è davvero questione di centimetri tra la ruota dell’atleta americana e quella di Giorgia Bronzini. Il rallenty attribuisce il secondo gradino del podio all’italiana; per l’atleta #yellowfluo è terza posizione. Ancora una volta, comunque, per la Alé &nd ash; Cipollini – Galassia è podio, il quarto in altrettante giornate. Dopo aver preso le misure nella prima frazione della corsa, le ragazze del dream team italiano non si sono più fermate, correndo sempre da protagoniste e riuscendo, ogni volta, a finalizzare l’ottimo lavoro fatto da tutta la squadra. Anche oggi il percorso, come da pronostico, si è confermato preda delle velociste, con il gruppo che è riuscito a richiudere sui tentativi di fuga di Raxane Knetemann e Valentina Scandolara prima e di Audrey Cordon poi e a fare sì che sul traguardo di Cesenatico fosse volata. Ad aggiudicarsi la frazione dedicata a Marco Pantani è una vera campionessa, Marianne Vos, che si conferma sempre più leader della corsa e donna da battere. Dietro di lei, però, c’è sempre Shelley Olds, c’è sempre la Alé – Cipollini – Galassia. “Certo il secondo posto sarebbe stato meglio del terzo, ma poco importa in realtà” – sostiene il Direttore Sportivo Luisiana Pegoraro – “Noi stiamo dimostrando di essere sempre protagoniste e ogni giorno proviamo a fare la corsa. Davanti a Marianne Vos non resta che inchinarsi, ma noi ci siamo e continueremo a provare a batterla. E’ difficilissimo, ma nulla è impossibile”. Restano quattro tappe per andare a caccia della vittoria, che sarebbe anche il meritato premio ad un Giro Rosa che le #yellowfluo stanno vivendo tutto all’attacco. After the photo-finish, 3rd position for Shelley Olds. For Alé – Cipollini – Galassia team fourth podium in four days. Still a sprint and still a podium for Shelley Olds: the American athlete increases her booty and that of Alé – Cipollini – Galassia team conquering the third position in the 5th stage of Giro Rosa. A bronze that for a few minutes it seemed tinged with silver, because today to lay out the classification was necessary the photo-finish. For the victory no doubt, the winner is again Marianne Vos, but for the 2nd and 3rd position is really a matter of inches between the wheels of the bike of the American athlete and those of Giorgia Bronzini. The slow motion gives the second step of the podium to the Italian cyclist, for the #yellowfluo athlete is third position. Again, so, for Alé – Cipollini – Galassia team is podium, the fourth in four days. Even today, as predicted, the stage finished with a sprint. The group was able to close on escape attempts of Raxane Knetemann and Valentina Scandolara before and then of Audrey Cordon, so also today it’s a sprint to decide the winner. Marianne Vos wins the stage dedicated to Marco Pantani. Behind her, though, there’s always Shelley Olds, there is always Alé – Cipollini – Galassia team. “Of course the second place would be better than the third, but in reality it does not matter” – the Sportive Director Luisiana Pegoraro says – “We are always protagonists and every day we try to make the race. Ahead of Marianne Vos no choice but to bow down, but we will continue to try to beat her. It’s very difficult, but nothing is impossible”. There are still four stages to try to conquer the victory. Tomorrow the sixth stage: Gaiarine – San Fior, 112 km. The girls will face, for the first time in this edition, with the mountains.
