“Trofeo Alfredo Binda” – II° prova Coppa del Mondo: il ciclismo volano del turismo in provincia di Varese

Già dalle prossime ore gli organizzatori inizieranno a registrare i primi arrivi delle squadre che domenica si confronteranno nel 16° trofeo Alfredo Binda oppure nella “Piccola Coppa del Mondo” per corridori donne junior. Quello dell’affluenza in Valcuvia e in provincia di Varese è un altro degli aspetti che rendono importante l’appuntamento di fine marzo, non solo dal punto di vista sportivo. Quest’anno alla gara junior sono iscritte 125 atlete e sono 142 le iscritte alla gara elite. Vanno poi aggiunti tecnici, dirigenti e massaggiatori dei team, come sempre in arrivo da tutto il mondo. Quindi i giornalisti accreditati; oltre che a tutta Italia saranno in zona giornalisti, fotografi e operatori TV da Olanda, Usa, Gran Bretagna, Svizzera e Belgio. Quest’anno Cittiglio ospiterà anche la delegazione cinese dal Tour del Choming, in programma il 18 maggio. Ci sono poi dirigenti sportivi ed ospiti da Italia. Una delegazione arriverà dalla Toscana, grazie ai buoni rapporti istituiti da Mario Minervino durante i campionati mondiali di Firenze. Inoltre gli addetti ai lavori e tanti appassionati. La Cycling Sport Promotion ha stimato oltre mille presenze in più sul territorio: “Abbiamo censito 14 strutture tra hotel, agriturismi e B&B coinvolte nella Coppa del Mondo – ha dichiarato Mario Minervino – un segnale molto positivo non solo per la passione e l’interesse che l’evento porta per gli appassionati del ciclismo. In questo periodo dell’anno avere un afflusso così importante è molto indicativo per l’economia di tutta a zona”. Il ciclismo internazionale offre inoltre altre opportunità importanti; da quest’anno l’organizzazione Bike Hotel ha organizzato un week end per appassionati e ciclisti con una guida speciale; Claudio Chiappucci che per due giorni accompagnerà in bicicletta un bel gruppetto di ciclisti-turisti che pedaleranno alla scoperta della Valcuvia e della Provincia di Varese. ENGLISH VERSION – Women UCI World Cup: cycling has enhanced tourism in the province of Varese

The turnout in Valcuvia and in the province of Varese is one of the many important aspects characterizing this end of March event, not only from a sport point of view. Then cycling experts and many fans will also be welcome. The Cycling Sport Promotion has forecast an extra attendance of one thousand people on the territory : “We found out that 14 facilities including hotels, holiday farms and B & B will be involved in the World Cup – said Mario Minervino – a very positive sign for the passion and the interest that the event brings to the cycling fans. Such an important inflow at this time of the year is very significant for the economy of the entire area. ” The international cycling offers other important opportunities, this year the organization Bike Hotel has organized a weekend for fans and cyclists with a special guide , Claudio Chiappucci who will accompany a group of cycle tourists for two days to discover Valcuvia and the Province of Varese.
